Idea Share – A Group Submission

The deadline for idea submissions on October 20th is fast approaching and we want to hear more great ideas!

The submissions so far have been excellent and very diverse.

When the sky is literally the limit, the creativity really starts to flow. We have submissions for place-making Edmonton signs and signs to inform visitors to our city what we are all about. We have ideas for attracting tourists, ideas for making our beloved spaces like the River Valley more useable, and everything in between.

Edmontonians have also been doing their homework and looking to see what has been done in other cities that might work here. We’d like to share one such idea that came in as a group submission:

Jim Bilodeau, Cory Sellar, Jake Weidman, Jessica Jezowski, and Jennifer Dacanay submitted an idea as a group for the development of a YouTube space, an initiative that has been successful in other cities like Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. This submission involves cultural space repurposing into a social media studio focused on cutting edge Canadian culture exports of new media.

Thanks to the group that submitted this great idea!

Do you have an idea that is just as good? Make sure you submit it here  before the October 20th deadline.
