Proposal Idea
Bringing a longtime tradition from central Europe to Edmonton by creating Advent or Christmas villages throughout the city in December.

What will you build?
Utilizing the green shacks, a small space could be created and rented out to vendors to display crafts and Christmas items for sale. Each vendor would be responsible for decorating the structures in Christmas decor.

Where will you build it?
Churchill Square, Legislative Grounds, Muttart Conservatory, Whyte Ave, 118 Ave, 124 Street, and any community league facility interested.

How does your idea define or embody Edmonton?
It embodies the idea of Edmonton as a friendly winter city where people get out and embrace the winter and the Christmas spirit.
