Proposal Idea

Create the world’s largest treehouse in one of the parks in Edmonton.

What will you build?

The treehouse would look natural and blend in with its surroundings, but be made of winter-resistant materials. It would feature a wine bar, kids’ playground, restaurant, and space to enjoy live music. The vision of the idea is a place that can be enjoyed by Edmontonians of any age, in any season.

Where will you build it?

In any park overlooking the river valley.

How does your idea define or embody Edmonton?

Edmontonians are so adventurous, so eager to explore new things, and are so passionate about nature, particularly our gorgeous river valley. We constantly surprise the world by our love of the outdoors, even in the dead of winter. This is a place that can be enjoyed by Edmontonians of any age, in any season, whether the leaves are falling in autumn or the birds are chirping in spring.
